According to Bandar Lengeh Ports and Maritime Organization’s Director Qasem Askari, the exported goods mainly included fruits and vegetables, nuts, minerals and construction materials.
Non-oil imports into the port city during the same period stood at 30,000 tons to register a 56% decrease, IRNA reported.
Askari added that 3.34 million tons of commodities were loaded and unloaded in Bandar Lengeh during the four-month period, Financial Tribune reported.
Transit of non-oil goods from the port city rose 31% to reach 88,691 tons, as container loading and unloading amounted to around 1,000 TEUs, indicating an 11% increase compared with the corresponding period of last year.
